About Us

We have been serving the Cuyahoga and Summit area for over 30 years, incorporating many styles in our martial arts training including Shotokan Karate, Jujitsu, Traditional and Modern Weapons and Street Defense.

Our students gain confidence, self-esteem and discipline as well as physical strength, conditioning and self-defense. These benefits lead to greater achievements in school, work and life. At American Academy we teach Character Education, Academic Achievement, and Self-Control. Our students get great grades in school. They excel in Karate and in tournaments, and they are successful in their occupations and lives.
